Ambolley Thrills Music Fans @ World Music Festival
Ghana’s afro-pop rap music star, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, last Friday thrilled music fans at the second Accra Jazz and World Music Festival at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.
The festival, being sponsored by the Alliance Française, French Embassy, Spanish Embassy, European Union, Stanbic Bank, Lufthansa, Spedidam, Novotel, Bollore and Guinness Ghana Ltd, witnessed historic musical performances by Ambolley.
The afro-pop star won the hearts of the entire audience with his exquisite stagecraft and singing ability to the extent that some kept asking for more even when his time was over.
He was at his best and his attitude on stage was exceptionally good. The music icon treated the excited audience to some serious dance moves.
Many described the event as one of the best concerts since international stars began appearing on the Ghanaian stage. Although the auditorium was not as packed as anticipated, those who made it will have many fond memories from the show.
Ambolley’s repertoire was most impressive, a mixture of hit songs from the 90’s through to 2008.
Undisputedly the original king of afro rap, Gyedu Blay Ambolley is back and as usual, he will keep you singing along all the way to the dance floor.
