BLACK Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan has passed fitness test when he was declared as fully fit and ready for the next season. Rennes are confident that Ghana’s striker will enjoy a successful campaign this season.

The medical team of the French Ligue One side passed the 23-year-old Ghanaian as being fit. He also missed a greater part of last season through injury.

“During his vacation he had a program of diet and lifestyle to follow, and he was also accompanied by the Club’s doctor, who ran with him on the beach,” Rennes Physical trainer, Nicolas Dyon mentioned in an interview.

Gyan has remained focused on the up-coming Ligue 1 season despite reports linking him to the English Premiership side, Everton, who are said to have allowed French striker, Louis Saha to leave the Club.
