NDC Boss Warns
The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy National Organizer, Hon. Joshua Hamidu Akaba, has bemoaned the mushrooming youth groups and has warned the youth to desist from pressure groupings to seek redress of their grievances in the party.
The Deputy National Organizer noted that those groups were not recognized in the party stating “Apart from NDC youth wings, it is unconstitutional to form any other youth groups”.
He made these remarks at Aflao in the Ketu South District of Volta Region over the week when they held the 6th Constituency Public Educational Rally.
Hamidu Akaba advised the youth to be patient and properly channel their grievances to the leadership of the party and the government to be addressed rather than washing their dirty clothes in the public for opponents to ridicule them.
He congratulated the youth for working tremendously during 2008 election adding that they needed appreciations.
Hon. Hamidu tasked the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ketu South District, Hon. Francis Bernard Amable and the Member of Parliament (MP) Ketu South, Hon. Albert Zigah, to create jobs internally for the youth.
“Don’t sit down and wait for the president to do everything, you can create jobs here” he said.
Hon. Zigah also talked about the bad nature of the Ketu South roads, especially Denu to Aflao road and promised the people that very soon the Agbozume to Aflao road would be constructed.
