Nana Has Thick Skin – Sir John
Nana Akufo Addo
THE NEW Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo has been described as a physically and spiritually strong person.
NPP General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie opined that the opposition party leader is not someone that would easily lose focus due to external pressure or the lies being told about him by his detractors.
“His prime motive for now is how to campaign vigorously and effectively to win the presidential election to implement better programmes that would save Ghana from its current deplorable state,” he said
He asked National Democratic Congress (NDC) elements that have been lying about Nana Addo in recent times just to publicly discredit him to stop because “nothing will make Nana lose focus.”
Sir John who was speaking on radio noted that the amount of insults and wild lies the NDC has been peddling about Nana cannot have an adverse effect on the NPP leader; “they are rather making him stronger.”
Nana Addo is not new to the politics of insults and lies, having actively been in politics for well over three decades, he noted adding he cannot be so easily frustrated.
“The NDC has realized they are no match Nana Addo hence their decision of adopt dirty politics to taint his hard won image.”
He entreated the NDC to quickly drop the politics of insults and lies against the NPP flag bearer, reminding them that Ghanaians are now very discerning and would not believe their lies.
“The NPP flag bearer is more experienced, determined and serious than ever about winning the elections,” he reiterated saying the NDC is wasting its precious time “because their fiendish plot against Nana Addo won’t work.”
Owusu Afriyie said the NDC does not have any credible campaign message to woo the electorate, notably the floating voters to their side hence the adoption of political lies and insults.
