Mills' funeral programme out; Independence Square is venue

According to the plan, the body will laid in state at the Banquet Hall at 4 pm, August 8. The Majority Leader, Cletus Avoka, announced to Parliament that the Speaker of Parliament, Joyce Bamford Addo would lead the House to file past the body.
The funeral arrangements also has it that on Thursday August 9, the Speaker would also lead the House to pay tribute to the late President at a ceremony to be organized at the forecourt of the State House.
The burial service for the late President would be held at Independence Square, Friday, August 10.
The burial place of the late President has been announced as the Geese Park on the Castle Drive few meters from the Osu Castle.
Meanwhile August 10, the day the mortal remains of the President be laid to rest has been declared a public holiday by President Mahama,
