Rev. Owusu Bempah Spells Ghana’s Doom
REV. DR. Owusu Bempah, founder and General Overseer of Glorious World Power Ministries International has said politicians will plunge the nation into civil war in this year’s December 7 general elections if care is not taken.
He said God revealed to him that there will be war in the country and it will be caused by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Rev. Bempah made this known in an interview with the press at his office in Accra. According to the man of God, he prophesied about last Saturday’s plane crash that took place in Accra near the El Wak Stadium, killing 10 passengers onboard a 207 passenger bus instantly.
He also said the plane crash that took place in Nigeria, killing over 160 people was also revealed to him and he prophesied about it on December 31, 2011 at the church’s watch night service in Accra.
Rev. Bempah said, “God revealed to me last year on December 31, 2011, that there would be a plane crash in Ghana and a neighboring country and it has happened and the same God has revealed to me that there would be war in the country.”
He said “I am worried about the revelation because the country will not survive it if the war should happen that is why I want all Ghanaians to stand up with one voice and pray against the perpetrators.”
Rev. Bempah said what will bring about the war is that one of the two major political parties will win the December 7, elections and the loser will not accept it in good faith.
This he said will bring about the war in the country. “I know that what I am saying some people will not believe it and will even insult me but they should not forget that some of the revelations have come to pass and so this one too can happen if precautionary measures are not put in place.”
“I am not afraid of the insults that will come from people because of this prophecy. I am a prophet ordained by God and I only say the things that God has revealed to me. I will never say anything that God has not revealed to me so Ghanaians should not think that I am joking,” he added.
Rev. Bempah said in order to avoid the calamity from befalling the nation, Christians must pray vehemently and politicians must be ready to accept when their party loses the forthcoming elections for the sake of Ghana.
He said neighboring countries like Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Libya and Tunisia were plunged into civil war during attempts to change their governments with thousands of innocent citizens killed and many displaced.
This, according to the Rev. Bempah, should not be allowed to take place in the country and advocated strong spiritual intervention to prevent it.
Rev. Bempah said “the violence that took place in the just ended biometric voter registration exercise should be a lesson to all Ghanaians that if we do not pray hard the nation can be plunged into war by the politicians.”
“The onus lies on us to do whatever we can to avoid this war from happening especially Christians,” he said.
Rev. Bempah warned Dr. Afari Gyan not to allow himself to be used by the politicians.
“Dr. Afari Gyan must stand firm and conduct the elections free and fair. He must not allow himself to be influenced by money or anything.”
He appealed to all Christians in the country to fast and pray for the country so that God will intervene and take away the calamity that is about to befall the nation during and after the elections.
