Edem Writes A Letter To His Fans
A few years ago, I had a dream. A few years ago, while at Bishop Herman School, I dreamt I will be one of the greatest musicians from Africa. Right after school, fate and hard work got me into music.
I just sang what my heart felt, and you, received me with open arms and embraced me. You welcomed me and have helped me to remain grounded.
From Bougez, through to Bra Fremi, nyornuviade, Too Much, Legacy, Kate, ghetto arise, warrior for peace, not on my level and all major features and Over Again, you have showed me a love and support
so true.
Granted, there have been some downfalls along the line, situations which could have been avoided and others which just had to happen to strengthen me and to show your support for me as unrelenting.
We all thirst for victory but without trials, we cannot be victorious. I know I let you down on some occasions. I am sorry. I really am. As much as I can, and with God as my Help, I hope to grow more sensible from with each mistake and bad experience.
There are a number of people too who do not like me. Well maybe they do but they do not want to >accept it. They spend time on my Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/edemonline) wall and on twitter (www.twitter.com/iamedem} saying all sorts of things against me.
Sometimes I ignore, but am human, and some do get to me. I’m comforted with the fact that I cannot please everybody. However all such people should know that I appreciate their sharp edged tongues because they keep me on my toes and their negativity fuels my drive.
The future is what we all hope for. We are not guaranteed of it yet we need to plan for it. I am humbled by your love and your support. I hope to reach higher levels and while am still working hard, I finally want to encourage you all to reach for your goals as well. Once again, thank you for your support.
GOGET’EM!!!!!!!!!!
Regards, and love always,
Edem
