Ghanaian Actor allegedly shot by armed robbers
Unconfirmed reports which gained attention on facebook yesterday were claims that a Ghanaian actor had been shot by armed robbers.
The information didn’t give much detail about what really happened or who was shot, whether it was a female actor or a male actor.
But the claim came from Kobi Rana’s facebook page.
The allegation however alarmed a number of persons who called News-One offices to substantiate the truth about the shooting incident.
Kobi didn’t answer his phone when News-One tried to reach him for details.
News-one is aware John Dumelo and Majid Michel are currently not in town. Van Vicker and Agya Koo are on set busy working in Kumasi and they are safe.
A call placed to Prince David Osei, who is also busy on a set at Krokrobite was not answered. But he called back after a few minutes. He didn’t know who had been shoot but he said he was ok.
Yvonne Nelson and Yvonne Okoro, according to sources, were ok.
Lydid Forson was at Stonebuoy’s launch at Silverbird on Saturday evening and she is hundred percent safe.
The same evening, the likes of Nana Ama McBrown, Eddie Watson, Ebi Bright, James Gardner were at the press premiere of their latest movie, ‘Hotel Baby’ at the Maxlot hotel at the Nima Junction. The main premiere is scheduled for ‘March 17 at the National Theatre.
As at press time, it was confirmed that Eddie Watson, James Gardner, and Ebi Bright got home safely but News-One couldn’t confirm with Nana Ama McBrown. Phone calls made to her did not go through. Jackie Appiah and Nadia Buari, according to pals, were safe.
News-One is still investigating what really happened.
